About NHS:The National Honor Society (NHS) was created to recognize and encourage academic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. It promotes appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Membership is both an honor and a commitment. The National Honor Society of Marblehead High School strives to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and in the spirit of the school and the community.
Tutoring by NHS:
Having trouble in a class? Need some extra help? Want help studying for a test? NHS students are here to help. Free tutoring is available during studies in the library. Any student can go to the Library with a pass and work with an NHS tutor during a directed study or before/after school. Other times are available on request. All grades and levels are welcome! To sign up, please fill out the online NHS Tutoring Request Form or contact the NHS Tutoring Coordinator.
