• The Marblehead Public Schools encourages parents/guardians of all children who will be turning five on or before August 31, 2024 to register them for Kindergarten.

    There is a fee for Full Day Kindergarten. Please see the Tuition Sliding Scale.

    Marblehead Public Schools offers half-day and full day options for our Kindergarten program. The tuition rates are listed below.  Tuition will also be invoiced monthly through our electronic payment system, MySchoolBucks.

    2024 – 2025 School-Year Approved Rates:

    Kindergarten Half Day Program: Free of Charge
    Kindergarten Extended Day Program: $4,000

    Income Eligibility Application for Reduced Full Day Kindergarten Tuition

    Financial Need-Based tuition reduction is available for the Kindergarten extended day program to those who qualify. More information about the tuition reduction application can be obtained from the Business Office and will be shared by the Business Office in mid-August, along with information regarding our electronic billing system. 

    There is not a financial need-based tuition reduction available for students in the preschool program.  Tuition will be reduced based on the student’s IEP and its recommended services, as applicable.
