Teachers will provide each student a summary of academic and behavioral expectations at the beginning of each school year, and reinforce these expectations frequently through effective social-emotional learning techniques.

Many after-school enrichment programs are offered by teachers at Village School. Sports, Typing, Yearbook, Village School Play, homework clubs, iTeam, Book Club,  Community Leadership, Vagabonding Club: Movies, Blogs and Global Adventures.  Many Village students take advantage of these programs.

Village School was lucky enough to receive a grant from the Friends of the Marblehead Public Schools, for the Village Garden.The garden is in the courtyard and is managed by parent and staff volunteers.  Families come in over the summer to weed and water.  In exchange, they are welcome to take produce.

Our Village School motto is Keep Each Other Well. We are a PBIS school which teaches students our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Safety. Students are praised and acknowledged for their positive behaviors while also being held accountable for negative behaviors.
