About the Initiative

Marblehead High School has a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) initiative for students.  Your student can bring in any device they choose and will have the ability to connect to the schools WiFi for internet access.

Antivirus and Malware Protection:

Please make sure to have Antivirus / Malware protection on your personal device.  If your device is found to be infected or causing malicious activity, it will be blocked from the schools network until it is deemed safe.  School technology staff will not be responsible for fixing/cleaning your personal device.

Chromebooks: 

If you choose to use a chromebook we suggest the configuration below:

A Chromebook should have a minimum 11” screen, 7-hour battery, 4GB RAM and a 16GB solid state hard drive.
